SaviBank Opening New Loan Production Office With Local Banking Veteran

Burlington, Washington, March 24, 2016 – SaviBank, headquartered in Burlington, Washington, announced that it has opened a Loan Production Office in Freeland, WA. New hire, Lauren Pool, Vice President and Loan Production Manager, will be running the new office.

Prior to joining SaviBank, Lauren was employed at Whidbey Island Bank for 19 years, the last ten of which were as a Commercial Loan Officer in Freeland. During that time, Lauren was instrumental in the development of the commercial loan portfolio and deposit base on South Whidbey, and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2014.

“Lauren’s reputation as a respected banker, lender and community leader on South Whidbey makes her a valuable addition,” said SaviBank President Andy Hunter.

The Loan Production Office opened on March 15, 2016, and is currently serving the local borrowing needs of businesses, professionals and individuals.

SaviBank Chairman and CEO Mike Cann added, “After having worked in banking in Oak Harbor and on Whidbey Island for over 16 years, I’m aware of how important it is for people to have a local, Northwest-based community bank. We’re here to offer that local service.”
